Save the floating trail

The floating trail is a great unique way to experience nature and a good shortcut. Keep the floating trail and upgrade when it becomes possible.

Boardwalk would be great, but garbage/recycling bins are a must.

A boardwalk would be great. The floating bridge on the other side of Rasmussen also needs to be updated. Permanent trash/recycling bins are also needed at the trails around Mankato, including Rasmussen. There's a trash pile at the shelter at Rasmussen.

I think it would be neat to see how deep the water is at some points!

The gem of Mankato’s walking paths is the floating trail! One can Immerse yourself in the beautiful sights, sounds and beauty of nature.

Fix the floating bridge

Fix the unique floating bridge. It is only in poor condition because you the city have choose to not maintain it properly over the years. Just doing the minimum to get by every year. Sounds like a simple fix to me. We used to have an awesome nature center too. Don't let this park die.
