Mankato Parks Pilot Project

In December 2023, the Mankato City Council allocated $50,000 for an exciting new initiative called the Parks Pilot Project. It aims to increase usage of Mankato's parks by introducing a variety of new features and activities. Planned additions include gaga ball pits, hammock posts, and a ping pong table in select parks.

The project's main goal is to explore a variety of new activities in the parks, encourage people to try new things, and offer unique experiences for a wider range of community members. We will assess the success of these features based on user feedback, participation rates, and overall satisfaction. Your input through the survey and ideas board below will be valuable for guiding future improvements and features in our park facilities.
