The City of Mankato is in the process of implementing recommendations from the Five-Year Transit Development Plan. A goal is to help improve the City’s current transit system while planning for future transit needs by identifying service changes and investments to current transit routes and recommending updates to best meet community needs. This plan will help guide transit changes and improvements over the next five years.

Proposed changes to transit services affecting North Mankato are available for community feedback. The proposed changes would affect:
Fixed Route 5 Service: Extend the service line and add Saturday service.
Weekdays: Depart Cherry Street Bus Stop every 30 minutes between the hours of 6:05 a.m. and 5:05 p.m. for 11 hours per day.
Saturdays: Depart Cherry Street Bus Stop every 30 minutes between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for 7 hours per day.
Mobility Service: Aligned with the Fixed Route 5 service hours, including Saturday service.
North Mankato Flex Service: Flex service would end for North Mankato.
