Project Background:
The playground equipment in Buscher Park, 409 Ledlie Lane, is scheduled for replacement in 2024 because of its age, condition and challenges in finding replacement parts. Playground Playground equipment options are designed to meet safety requirements and provide opportunities aligned with American Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. Other park work planned includes adding concrete curbing, a retaining wall and drainage.
Proposed work is estimated at $350,000, and the project is expected to begin in 2024. Staff are seeking grant funding to help cover a portion of the project's costs. The grant must be completed by March 31, 2023.
